The RPS 3D Imaging and Holography Group was first founded in 1983 to foster interest
in the subject of holography in all its forms - artistic, commercial, industrial
and scientific, now the interest in three-dimensional imaging has expanded the group
to include all forms of 3D photography and movie-making.
Membership is world-wide
and is drawn from both practising holographers and 3D photographers & movie-makers
- and those who are simply interested in the subject. The group holds occasional
meetings and conferences in London and publishes a newsletter with an embossed hologram
on the cover.
Members of the Society can apply for RPS distinctions in Holography
and 3D imaging at the Associateship and Fellowship levels.
For RPS members, annual membership to the 3D Imaging Group is just £7.00.
